Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, wrap, and sterilize instruments and supplies.
• Assess equipment to determine operation and differentiate user error vs malfunction.
• Follow sanitary, infection control and safety standards.
• Prepare cleaning checklists and restock work areas as necessary.
• Communicate with operating room staff and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., AAMI, ANSI).
