CentraCare Health is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to ensure sterile instruments are ready for surgeries and procedures. The role supports patient safety by maintaining clean tools and adhering to infection prevention standards, while working with a supportive team and earning competitive pay.

Responsibilities include decontamination, assembly, sterilization, instrument tracking, and preparing trays. A minimum of one year in SPD is required for Tech II eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year working in a Sterile Processing Department.
• Tech II level requires prior SPD experience.
• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions for instruments.

Responsabilités

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Prepare instrument trays for surgeries and procedures.
• Operate sterilization and instrument tracking systems.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Support caregivers by ensuring critical equipment is available when needed.
