Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Central Sterile Tech to join our hospital teams. The role entails decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies across the hospital and clinic sites.

You will participate in performance improvement projects as requested. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology program or 18 months of sterile processing experience, knowledge of infection control techniques, and current CRCST or CSPDT

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology program or 18 months of relevant Sterile Processing experience.
• Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology.
• Current CRCST or CSPDT certification with CEU maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize supplies and equipment for the hospital and clinics.
• Participate in department and center-wide performance improvement projects as requested.
