Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional patient care by providing prompt, accurate service.
• Provide supplies of sterile linen packs, basins, instrument trays, and other sterile items.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning, disinfection, and the sterilization processes.
• Strive for consistency in the trays that the department provides.
• Monitor and enforce controls necessary to prevent cross-contamination according to infection control policies.
• Establish and maintain sterile processing standards.
• Implement changes as needed to stay current with new regulations and recommended practices.
• Review current practices for possible improvements in quality of services provided.
• Provide services to other departments in all areas of sterile processing.
