Job summary

Linton-Delray Beach Surgery Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and prepare instruments for surgery cases in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

We value attention to detail, knowledge of sterilization equipment, and the ability to adapt to varying surgical schedules. This is a full-time role located in Delray Beach, FL with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• Completion of Sterile Processing Certification is a plus.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of OR instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
