Job summary

Destin Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our on-site team. You will maintain and care for all surgical instruments and prepare supplies for anesthesia and surgery cases in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of sterile processing experience; completion of a sterile processing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of sterile processing experience preferred.
• Sterile processing certification completion preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers preferred.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.

Sterile Processing Tech at Destin Surgery Center

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
