Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician for SurgCenter Clearwater in Florida. The role focuses on maintaining and caring for all surgical instruments and preparing supplies for each surgery, ensuring sterile technique throughout procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience and familiarity with sterilizers, medical terminology, and OR instrumentation. Benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or similar
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience is preferred
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for all surgical instruments and supplies.
• Prepare instruments and supplies for surgery cases.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure sterile technique.
