Job summary

Surgery Center at Jensen Beach, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc., is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (PRN). Maintains and cleans surgical instruments and prepares supplies for cases, supporting efficient OR operations.

Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician; requires 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience; high school diploma required; completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
