Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital and UW Health Belvidere Hospital seek a Sterile Processing Manager to lead a 25-person team and partner with OR leadership to ensure safe, efficient instrumentation and case cart operations across both campuses.

You will drive quality, process improvements, staff education, and regulatory compliance while guiding operational growth and sustaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Operations or related field required.
5 years of progressively responsible lead/supervisory experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Services.
Professional Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST or CSPDT) required; CMRP preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily Sterile Processing operations for two hospital campuses.
Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 25 Sterile Processing professionals.
Partner with OR leadership to ensure instrumentation and case carts meet standards and timelines.
Drive efficiency, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement in workflows.
Support staff education, preceptorship, and competency development.
