Job summary

Next Move Healthcare seeks an experienced Sterile Processing Manager to lead daily operations in a hospital setting. You will oversee staffing, training, quality metrics, and compliance, partnering with hospital leadership and OR teams.

The role requires 3–5+ years in OR/sterile processing, CRCST certification, and strong leadership and communication skills. Bachelor’s is preferred; CER is a plus. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Operating Room and/or Sterile Processing experience.
• CRCST certification required.
• CER certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working directly with hospital leadership and/or C-suite stakeholders preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily sterile processing operations and ensure consistent, high-quality service to the OR and hospital departments.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage sterile processing staff and frontline leaders.
• Maintain strong relationships with hospital administration, surgeons, OR leadership, and other key stakeholders.
• Manage staffing levels, productivity, KPIs, quality metrics, contract requirements, and overall operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, credentialing requirements, and industry regulations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and service.
• Utilize data and technology to monitor performance, anticipate staffing/resource needs, and drive operational improvements.
• Support financial performance and accountability for the operation.
