Responsibilities include decontamination, assembly, sterilization, documentation, training staff, and liaising with hospital purchasing. Ideal candidates have strong instrumentation knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 3 years direct sterile processing or perioperative experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage, cart setup, and distribution.
• Monitors workflow and provides feedback on team performance.
• Documents required information and maintains instrument records.
• Trains Sterile Processing staff in processing procedures.
• Maintains instrument care and ensures compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Acts as liaison to purchasing and outside vendors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
