Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Aurora, CO has an opening for a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead an assigned area within the Anchutz Inpatient Pavilion. This onsite role focuses on departmental policy development, productivity and quality management.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CSPDT or CRCST certification (with preferred CHL/CIS/CER options), and at least two years of sterile processing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Medical Terminology course preferred.
• Certified as CSPDT or CRCST. Preferred: CHL, CIS or CER by HSPA/CBSPD or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Provides mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in productivity and quality management.
• Assists with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making and problem solving.
