Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an entry-level sterile processing team member for the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role focuses on decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and documentation of instruments to ensure patient safety.

The position is full-time, dayshift, onsite only, with benefits including medical/dental/vision coverage and tuition assistance. Previous CSPDT/CRCST certification is preferred, with a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified CSPDT or CRCST from CBSPD/HSPA.
• Preferred: 3 months' certified experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning following IFU's.
• Disassembles items before choosing appropriate cleaning method.
• Performs sterilization and inspections of indicators, filters and labels.
• Documents work performed using instrument tracking software or paper records.

CSPDT (Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) from CBSPD

CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) from HSPA
