Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks a Sterile Processing lead to manage an assigned area, provide advanced guidance, and supervise staff during evening shifts. The role emphasizes maintaining high productivity and quality as part of a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include policy implementation, staff mentoring, workflow coordination, and handling complex issues under minimal supervision while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Medical Terminology course preferred.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification required; additional certs (CHL, CIS, CER, CBSPD) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members and oversee operations in Sterile Processing AIP.
• Mentor, monitor, coach, and evaluate staff performance focusing on productivity and quality.
• Coordinate services, prioritize workflow, and monitor staff production and quality metrics.
