Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks a Full-Time Sterile Processing lead to supervise an assigned area and guide team members with advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.

Responsibilities include developing and evaluating departmental policies, mentoring staff, coordinating services, prioritizing workflows, and ensuring quality metrics. Must think critically, act decisively, and work well with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Terminology course preferred.
• 2 years of sterile processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Provides mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members' performance, with focus on productivity and quality.
• Coordinates services, prioritizes assignments/workflow, and supports supply ordering and quality metrics.
• Performs responsibilities of underlying job; guides team on complex issues.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
