Wellstar Health System is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Technician to supervise and assist with surgical instrument processing, workflow coordination, and service line management in a fast-paced surgical services environment. The role emphasizes aseptic technique, staff leadership, and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure OR readiness.

The Lead technician will work with supervisors to optimize instrument turnaround, maintain regulatory compliance, and support performance improvement

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or Associate degree; CRCST certification preferred/required
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work across OR teams and support staff

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and implement surgical instrument processing and workflow with Sterile Processing team.
• Ensure operating rooms are stocked with necessary equipment and supplies for on-time case flow.
• Serve as a lead liaison between Sterile Processing Technicians and OR staff; support PI initiatives and staff orientation.
• Oversee designated service lines and communicate with management, physicians, and nursing staff to maintain operational efficiency.
