Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Sterile Instrument Technician Lead to oversee the preparation of sterile trays, instruments, and packs for a 24/7 surgical service. The role requires directing daily activities, mentoring staff, and maintaining quality assurance aligned with OSHA/AAMI/AORN standards.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required (reading, writing, speaking).
• CRCST certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of Sterile Processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterile trays, medical instruments, packs and supplies for 24/7 operations.
• Provide effective communication to sterile instrument teams; prioritize needs.
• Perform quality assurance activities and documentation.
• Mentor/train new Sterile Instrument Technicians; role model best practices.
• Collaborate with OR liaison and leadership to meet KPIs and updates.
• Relocate equipment and update packs with management approval; ensure aseptic technique.
