OrthoIndy in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Sterile Processing Supervisor to ensure efficient department operation, oversee instrument sets, tagging, and inventory control. You will coordinate with the OR, Purchasing, and vendors, supervise staff, and participate in quality initiatives to improve patient care and safety.

The role requires a degree and certification in sterile processing, plus experience with surgical instruments; strong focus on staff development and process improvement is essential.

Formación

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Certified Instrument Specialist certification.
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• 4–6 years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures daily function of the department runs smoothly and staff are supported.
• Communicates surgery case dates/times to vendors and coordinates with OR.
• Maintains instrument tagging and tracking; prepares instrument sets for repair.
• Monitors counts and stock; assists with performance improvement initiatives.
• Fills in staff positions and coordinates department education and scheduling.
