IU Health in Indianapolis is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech II to clean, wrap, sterilize, store and distribute equipment and endoscopes used in patient care.

You will provide orientation and training to Sterile Processing staff and apply advanced knowledge to daily operations in line with hospital policies and guidelines. Certification and CE credits are required, with basic computer skills beneficial.

Qualifications

• Requires CRCST/CSPDT/CFER NBSTSA certification.
• Requires 18 CE credits annually focused on sterile processing.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge to function as a Tech II.
• Ability to serve as Sterile Processing preceptor.
• Completion of Preceptor class and/or related training.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Endo instrumentation function and maintenance preferred.
• Some relevant healthcare experience.
