Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation of systems and environments, recommending improvements.
• Assist staff development through training and counseling as needed.
• Help manager establish policies, procedures and standards for safe, productive, cost-effective services.
• Coordinate unit activities to ensure efficient and competent services; resolve work-related problems.
• Maintain adequate quantities of reprocessed supplies, instrumentation, and equipment to meet patient care demands.
• Manage all supply, instrumentation, tray assembly, sterilization, and distribution processes for Surgical and Obstetrics Case Cart System.
• Supervise and evaluate Supply Processing and Distribution staff.
