Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CBSPD/IAHCSMM certification required.
• CIS and CSPM or CSIS certifications required or within one year of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience involving sterilization of instruments/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems and resolves issues within Sterile Processing.
• Trains and mentors Sterile Processing Technicians.
• Prepares work schedules and assists manager with performance issues.
• Maintains expert knowledge of Sterile Processing department rules, procedures and processes.
• Ensures safe and compliant handling of instruments and equipment.
