Job summary

BayCare in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech- Noncert to join our Health System. The role includes decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation, while acting as a mentor and resource for the department.

A High School diploma is required, with preference for certified sterile processing techs and prior hospital experience. Location is Winter Haven with full-time, day shift hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

• Preferred: Hospital experience.

• Responsible for the decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation processed through the department following established department procedures.
• Acts as preceptor, mentor and resource in support of department team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred - Certified Sterile Processing Tech
• Preferred - HospitalExperience

Other information:
Must become certified within 24 months of hire.
