Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to decontaminate, prep, pack and sterilize instruments in the Mease Countryside facility. The role includes mentoring team members and supporting department operations.

Requires High School or equivalent; Certified Sterile Processing Tech preferred, hospital experience preferred. Must become certified within 24 months of hire. Shift: 2:30PM-11:00PM; On-site with occasional weekend work.

Sterile Processing Tech - Noncert Responsibilities

Responsible for the decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation processed through the department following established department procedures. Acts as preceptor, mentor and resource in support of department team members.
