Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for the Mease Countryside facility. Responsibilities include decontamination, preparation, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation, while serving as a preceptor for team members.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent). Preferred certifications include Sterile Processing Tech and hospital experience. Position is PRN with evening shift hours; on-site work with occasional on-call duties.

• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Sterile Processing Tech - Noncert Responsibilities

Responsible for the decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation processed through the department following established department procedures. Acts as preceptor, mentor and resource in support of department team members.
