Job summary

The Ohio State University in Columbus is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator - Sterile Supply to prepare, sterilize, assemble and deliver surgical instrumentation. You will ensure supplies are sterile, properly packaged, and available for use across operating rooms and offsite CSS locations.

You will act as a clinical liaison between the ORs and CSS sites, coordinate instrument tray standardization, and support around-the-clock reprocessing at multiple hospital sites within the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Experience in sterile processing or operating room support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sterilize, assemble, and clean clinic equipment for surgeries.
• Ensure sterilized instruments are packaged and delivered aseptically.
• Serve as liaison between Operating Rooms and CSS offsite location.
• Track, allocate, and standardize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Support 24/7 operations across multiple reprocessing sites.
