Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Coordinator for Sterile Supply to oversee the coordination, sterilization, assembly, and delivery of surgical instrumentation across the health system. This role ensures aseptic packaging and safe reuse of equipment for surgeries, with a focus on enterprise-wide standardization.

You will serve as a clinical liaison between Operating Rooms and offsite Central Sterile Supply locations, supporting 24/7 reprocessing across multiple sites,

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• At least two years of experience as instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire or within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between Operating Room and Sterile Processing to facilitate case flow.
• Assemble, sterilize, and deliver instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Procure, standardize, and organize instrument trays on a global level for the Enterprise.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between OR and offsite CSS locations to track sterilized instrumentation.
