Job summary

TSI Raleigh, LLC. seeks a Home Infusion Compounding Technician to assist with sterile compounding and patient supply assembly under pharmacist supervision. You will perform sterile compounding per USP 797, follow SOPs and regulatory requirements, and maintain precise documentation and inventory levels.

You will monitor environmental conditions, ensure proper labeling, and support with quality control and team collaboration to ensure uninterrupted patient treatments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meet all State Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Completion of pharmacy technician training preferred.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Registered with the State Board of Pharmacy if applicable in state(s) of service area(s).

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow SOPs, USP 797, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Clean work surfaces and equipment per USP 797 and SOPs.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Label drugs and containers properly.
• Monitor environmental conditions daily and report out-of-range readings.
• Maintain On Track Task Logs daily.
• Manage timely refills to prevent interruptions.
• Upload delivery tickets into Care Tend and confirm signed Admissions.
• Conduct patient follow-up assessment calls and document thoroughly.
• Order medications to keep inventory well-stocked.
• Enter supplies into the Vital Systems inventory system.
• Store drugs safely and keep workspace organized.
• Inspect shelves to prevent shortages.
• Conduct monthly inventory of supplies.
• Report misconduct to HR as required.
• Build positive client relationships and provide proactive support.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, patients, and referrals.
• Assist with quality control and improvement activities.
