Job summary

The role involves monitoring environmental conditions, documenting logs, and coordinating with PIC and care teams to ensure uninterrupted patient care. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician training preferred.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Registered with State Board of Pharmacy if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sterile compounding per USP 797 under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements, maintain clean workspaces.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies and proper labeling of drugs.
• Monitor environmental conditions and document daily readings.
• Manage inventory, place orders, and ensure timely patient deliveries.
• Enter supplies into the Vital Systems inventory system and update logs.
• Report product incidents and escalate misconduct to Human Resources.
• Communicate with clients and referral sources professionally.
• Support quality control and performance improvement activities.
