Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at our Main Campus. This role supports 14-bed unit with 12-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a), rotating weekends and holidays. Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS are required, with PRN experience considered.

The nurse will interpret EKGs, care for central lines, assist with bedside procedures, and collaborate with PCNAs, providers, PT, and OT to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for the healthcare provider.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Interpret EKGs and manage central lines.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Providers, PT, OT.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegating, and time management.
