Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). The unit features 14 beds and involves rotating 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts with weekends and holidays rotated, providing high-quality patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferably a BSN. Opportunities include comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and professional certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio
• BLS for healthcare providers current or within 90 days of hire
• ACLS certification current or within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down unit (7 West)
• Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac status
• Manage central lines and airway support (BiPAP, high flow oxygen, vents)
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies)
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management
