Job summary

Fluxspace is seeking a part‑time, in‑person STEM Technology Specialist/Facilitator to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate educational technology across the Pittsburgh region. You will train educators and staff to use this gear confidently and effectively.

Work may include facilitating STEM workshops and hands‑on learning experiences for students, depending on programming needs. A passion for problem solving and engaging STEM learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, operating, or troubleshooting technology.
• Familiarity with makerspaces and STEM equipment such as 3D printers, robotics, VR/AR, laser cutters is preferred.
• Able to explain technical concepts to diverse ages and experience levels.
• Teaching or facilitation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain STEM equipment across the Pittsburgh region.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, software, connectivity, and other issues.
• Provide hands-on training and ongoing support for educators and staff.
