Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an in-person instructor to deliver STEM, Digital Tech, Art and Life Skills programs at partner sites. You’ll work from prepared lesson plans, with training and materials provided, teaching students in varying grades and reporting to a Program Success Manager.

This part-time role requires a valid AA degree or higher, 2+ years of teaching experience, strong communication, and reliable transportation for site work. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Part-time position.
• AA Degree (or higher).
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
• Experience working with children.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Consistency - Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach (must review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction).
• Competence - Deliver meaningful, standard‑aligned instruction that cultivates critical thinking, problem solving, and joy in the learning process.
• Communication - Engage in professional, responsive, effective communication with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Creativity - Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s collection of 80+ programs, administering accommodations and extensions.
• Community - Participate in family engagement efforts and empower each child to access and engage in Nexplore programs.
