Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an in-person Instructor to deliver STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students. Supplied with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, the Instructor prepares for instruction and teaches on-site at various assignments.

You will report to a Program Success Manager and join a team of educators dedicated to delivering high-quality learning experiences and community engagement.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher is required.
• 2+ years teaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Consistency: Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach, review lesson plans and materials.
• Competence: Deliver standard-aligned instruction and manage all supplied materials.
• Communication: Maintain professional, responsive communication with the Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Creativity: Deliver engaging instruction from Nexplore's programs, provide accommodations as needed.
• Community: Engage families through letters, showcases, and other activities and help children access programs.
