Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking experienced STEM instructors to inspire 4–14 year old students through engaging, hands-on activities in our after-school programs. The ideal candidate brings high energy, strong communication, and a passion for helping children learn and grow.

Responsibilities include delivering curriculum, supervising students, ensuring safety, collaborating with fellow specialists, and fostering a fun learning environment while upholding our Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• 1–5 years experience teaching STEM subjects preferred.
• Child abuse clearance and criminal checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct students in STEM subjects, ensuring a safe and dynamic learning environment.
• Implement STEM lessons catering to students aged 4 to 14 with varying skill levels.
• Promote fundamental STEM skills to enhance students' knowledge and proficiency.
• Group supervision of students with attention to behavior, health and safety, security, and personal development.
• Ensure the safety of students and staff.
• Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun and creative manner.
• Use effective classroom management to lead activities and keep it inclusive.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists and serve as a positive role model.
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and uphold company policies.
