Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking energetic STEM instructors to engage and mentor children aged 4 to 14 in after-school programs. You will implement curriculum, supervise activities, and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience with children, 1–5 years in STEM teaching preferred, and must pass child abuse clearance and criminal checks. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• 1–5 years experience teaching STEM subjects preferred.

• Strong communication with children and parents in professional settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct students in STEM subjects with a safe learning environment.
• Implement STEM lessons for 4–14 year-olds with varying skill levels.
• Promote fundamental STEM skills to enhance knowledge and proficiency.
• Group supervision focusing on behavior, health, safety, and development.
• Ensure safety of students and team members during activities.
• Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun, creative way.
• Collaborate with Activity Specialists and model positive behavior.
• Follow Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Maintain a fun environment where everyone feels included.
