Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking an experienced STEM Instructor to engage students in hands-on STEM activities across ages 4–18. You will supervise, teach, and foster a safe, fun learning environment while collaborating with staff and parents to support student growth.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years working with kids and 1–5 years’ STEM teaching experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Child abuse clearance and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with children.
• 1–5 years experience teaching STEM preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Must pass child abuse clearance and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct students in STEM subjects in a safe, dynamic learning environment.
• Implement STEM lessons for students aged 4–18 with varying skill levels.
• Promote fundamental STEM skills to enhance knowledge and proficiency.
• Group supervision with attention to behavior, health & safety, security, and development.
• Ensure the safety of students and team members.
• Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun, creative manner.
• Use classroom management to lead activities and foster inclusivity.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists on daily responsibilities.
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values and have fun!
