Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s with substantial experience in mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology, and data analysis using Excel and GraphPad Prism, with strong scientific writing skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with 3+ years’ experience in related field or Bachelor’s with 7+ years’ experience.
• Experience in aseptic mammalian tissue culture techniques and basic molecular biology techniques including nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR, Western Blot, ELISA, transfection.
• Experience with human pluripotent stem cell culture is desired.
• Proven problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn; ability to evaluate new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes routine in vitro studies independently; interprets outcomes and proposes follow-up.
• Designs and executes non-routine cell-based in vitro and biochemical assays based on literature analyses.
• Keeps abreast of literature and communicates findings effectively.
• Operates and maintains lab equipment; troubleshoots issues.
• Proposes new experiments/technologies and trains junior staff.
• Communicates and defends work within team and writes protocols and reports.
• Maintains high data integrity and electronic lab notebooks.
• Complies with regulations and SOPs; ensures safe, compliant work.
