Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Steel Welder for full-time, on-site work. You will weld structural steel parts per detailed drawings, operate overhead cranes, air arc torches, grinders, and magnetic drills, and maintain a safe, organized work area.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of welding experience, knowledge of D1.1 codes, ability to read fabrication drawings, and flexibility to work shifts, including Saturdays; second shift adds a $3.00 per hour differential.

Qualifications

• Must pass 3G weld test with 1/16 flux core wire and have D1.1 codes experience
• 3 years experience operating overhead cranes
• Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings
• Willingness to learn and flexible to overtime and Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel parts according to drawings and weld symbols
• Operate overhead cranes, air arc, grinders, magnetic drills safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality and timely completion of projects
