Job summary

The Co-Op Welder at Kinsley Steel, Inc. performs structural steel welding in accordance with approved welding procedures, shop drawings, and quality requirements.

This role focuses on producing consistent, high-quality welds while maintaining safety, productivity, and housekeeping standards; requires enrollment in a PA Technical School Co-Op and ability to interpret drawings.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an approved PA Technical School Co-Op Program.
• Must pass a 3G weld test with 1/16 flux core wire and have D1.1 2G/3G experience.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.

• Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
