Job summary

Kinsley Steel is hiring a Steel Welder to join our on-site team in York. You will weld structural steel parts following detailed drawings and weld symbols, ensuring top quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating overhead cranes and tools, communicating with teammates, and maintaining a clean work area. We offer competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pass a 3G weld test with 1/16 flux core wire and have D1.1 experience.
• 3 years experience operating overhead cranes.
• Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• 1st and 2nd shift positions available; 2nd shift adds $3.00/hr.

To be successful in the role of Steel Welder at Kinsley Steel, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications.

• A successful candidate must be able to pass a 3G weld test with 1/16th flux core wire and have applicable experience with D1.1 codes and 2G/3G experience.
• 3 years experience operating overhead cranes.
• Have a willingness to learn.
• Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
• Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed..
• 1st and 2nd shift positions available. For those working on 2nd shift, a $3.00 per hour differential is added to the base pay.
