Job summary

Diamondback Firearms, LLC is seeking a Steel Welder Level II to fabricate and weld steel components. The role requires MIG and TIG welding in a production setting, reading tape measures, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A background and drug screen will be required, along with ATF firearm possession compliance.

The position is a first-shift role with Monday–Friday hours from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in a manufacturing environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pass weld test.
• At least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure, identifying, and measuring material.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welds on steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Examines weld for bead size and other specifications
• Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes
• Position and clamp workpieces together or arrange them in jigs or fixtures
• Select torch, torch tip, filler rod, and flux according to welding chart specifications or material type/thickness
• Perform maintenance and repair on all welding equipment

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• Ability to pass weld test
• At least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure, identifying, and measuring material
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Preferred Skills

• At least 3 years of MIG and TIG welding experience in a production environment preferred
• At least 3 year of experience using weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances
• Forklift certification

CORE DUTIES

• Perform MIG and TIG welds on steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Examines weld for bead size and other specifications
• Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes
• Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixtures
• Select torch, torch tip, filler rod, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material
• Perform all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Overtime as needed

Special Requirements

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
