Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Fargo, ND is seeking a production-focused professional to manage structural steel projects from a production perspective. You will ensure shop schedules align with client expectations, maintain Tekla drawings and submittals, and coordinate timely material purchases with the project team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, building accurate shop drawing packages, tracking RFIs and change orders, and ensuring smooth project close-out.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, construction, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel, miscellaneous steel, and highway bridge projects from a production perspective.
• Ensure production schedules align with client expectations and drawings are up-to-date in Tekla.
• Coordinate purchasing of materials within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure client success and timely deliverables.
• Maintain project drawings, submittals, and change orders in Tekla systems.
• Attend weekly production site meetings and provide status updates.
• Prepare and support shop drawing packages and close-out documentation.
