CF&I Steel, L.P. is hiring a Steel Production Worker at our Pueblo, Colorado plant. The role involves working with steel production and finishing mills, operating equipment, and following strict safety procedures.

The ideal candidate maintains OSHA 10 certification and adheres to all safety rules while supporting mill production. Responsibilities include operating tools and equipment, coordinating with mill personnel, and performing routine maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools and equipment used for industrial purposes.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing process and familiarity with heavy industry/mining or related field.
• Ability to safely operate power/hand tools, machinery, and mobile equipment; 12 months experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Effective communication and safety awareness.
• Ability to work inside and outside in extreme conditions and noise.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to safe operating procedures and lockout/tagout rules; obtain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications; coordinate with mill personnel to maintain production and safety.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; may be reassigned to other mills per collective bargaining agreement; work in conditions with potential hazards and noise.
