Qualifications

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine material or equipment needs.
• Ability to safely meet or exceed minimum productivity levels.
• Ability to plan and organize work activities independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe methods of work and report unsafe conditions.
• Move steel to/from storage or production areas using hand, forklift, or crane.
• Lift up to 50 pounds for up to 25 feet and endure various physical tasks.
• Apply proper bundling techniques and configure loads for routes.
• Maximize load capacity on trailers while maintaining safety.
• Operate tools and equipment like forklift, overhead crane, tape measure, caliper, micrometer, and banding machine.
