Job summary

Evolution Motion Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to focus exclusively on the steel industry and grow relationships within steel mills in the region. You will identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, reduce downtime, and increase productivity while collaborating with maintenance, reliability, engineering, and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial outside sales experience.
• Experience calling on steel mills or other heavy industrial facilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for assigned steel mills.
• Build relationships with maintenance managers, reliability engineers, operations leaders, plant managers, and procurement personnel.
• Identify opportunities for Evolution Motion Solutions' products and services across maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) applications.
• Sell and support products including fluid power, automation, conveyor components, industrial supplies, and reliability solutions.
• Sell and support service projects related to steel mill operations and plant applications.
• Conduct plant audits, equipment assessments, and technical reviews to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• Generate new business while expanding existing customer partnerships.
• Partner with supplier representatives, internal technical resources, and third party contractors to deliver value-added solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and sales activity reporting.
• Represent Evolution Motion Solutions at industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities.
