This role focuses on scheduling, erection sequencing, logistics, and equipment selection for steel erection scopes on pursuits and awarded projects. You will read contracts with owners and subcontractors, develop startup guides, and build 1-2 month look-ahead schedules while coordinating with field teams and craft labor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience in construction as a Supervisor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Primavera and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Create the project start-up guide and quality assurance program.
• Build a 1-2 month look ahead work schedule.
• Schedule labor, materials, equipment; knowledge of EWM procedures.
• Purchase project construction materials.
• Read and understand contracts with owners and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, craft workforce and other contractors.
• Participate in project planning meetings.
• Set sequence and directions for field and subcontractor work forces.
• Assist PM on estimating change orders.
• Prepare and sequence site logistics within budget and schedule restraints.
• Foresee and mitigate schedule conflicts with subcontractors and self-performed work.
