Job summary

AmeriCorps & Senior Corps in Moscow, Idaho seeks a dedicated 4-H Youth Instructor for North District 26-27 to deliver STEAM education and youth development. The role involves planning and implementing hands-on programs in afterschool settings and at community events, while mentoring youth and building positive relationships.

You will collaborate with schools and University of Idaho Extension to expand reach, recruit volunteers, and collect data to evaluate impact.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth is beneficial.
• Ability to plan and evaluate youth programs.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate youth programming in STEAM and healthy living for diverse audiences.
• Deliver engaging educational programs in afterschool programs, community events, workshops, camps, clubs, and school partnerships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and University of Idaho Extension faculty and staff.
• Assist with supervising and coordinating youth leaders and teen volunteers during program activities and events.
