This mentorship extends beyond academics, encompassing essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and decision-making. Members organize events that bring families into the learning process, fostering stronger connections between youth, parents, and the community. These events may include STEM fairs, family science nights, and showcases of youth projects, all aimed at reinforcing the value of education and collaboration. Volunteer recruitment and engagement are also key responsibilities. By expanding the network of caring adults involved in youth programs, members amplify the program’s reach and sustainability.
