Job summary

AmeriCorps is seeking a dedicated 4-H Youth Instructor-Teton County in Idaho to coordinate STEAM programming and healthy living initiatives. You will deliver engaging activities in afterschool settings, community events, and workshops, while building partnerships with schools and extension staff.

As a mentor and role model, you’ll guide youth through hands-on learning, teamwork, and personal growth in a non-formal educational environment.

Qualifications

• Some college educational background required.
• Experience engaging youth in educational settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with partners and volunteers in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate youth programming in STEAM and healthy living.
• Deliver engaging programs across afterschool, events, camps, and clubs.
• Support partner schools and University of Idaho Extension staff to expand impact.
• Mentor youth leaders and volunteers; assist with data collection and reporting.
