Job summary

Maverick Landing Community Services (MLCS) seeks an HW Drop-In Teen Assistant for its S.T.E.A.M programs in East Boston. This part-time seasonal position supports weekly Wednesday drop-ins, homework help, college application and resume assistance, and youth mentorship.

Compensation is $15–$17 per hour for 6–8 hours per week. End date is December 23, 2026; schedule is Monday–Friday 11am–7pm with occasional Saturdays, and supervision from the Youth Programs Coordinator.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Attending team huddles and setting goals for the week.
• Working with MLCS’s Youth Programs Assistant to identify relevant professional development workshop themes and preparing lessons.
• Supporting facilitation of weekly HW Drop-in sessions on Wednesdays.
• Outreach and representation on behalf of MLCS youth programming and workshops.
